When it is safer to evacuate the building than to shelter in place due to a fire or an emergency scenario.
Familiarize yourself with your company's evacuation plan. Know who your Floor Wardens and other team member are.
If you will require assistance during an evacuation, even for a temporary condition, notify your Floor Warden of your location and contact number in advance. This information will be provided to Property Management and available for the Fire Department.
Participate in evacuation drills.
Locate your exit pathways and/or stairwells and know your company's exterior assemble area.
